One of the best ways to get into the deep end of playing poker is to learn through the easier method of playing video poker. To learn how to win at video poker is by far the easier choice than learning how to win at a real game of poker in a real brick and mortar casino.

And one of the best parts of playing video poker is that you also won’t have to worry that you are giving away too many “tells” to the other players. (“Tells”, being the little giveaway signs and habits you have which can tell an observant player what you are feeling, what your hand is etc.)
However, despite all these great aspects to video poker, you should realize that it is still not all that simple to win at video poker. To that effect, to learn how to win at video poker you will still need to log in some time at the virtual poker tables and play a few games.
This is really the only true way in which you can learn how to win at video poker. And when you have accomplished this feat, you might then want to think about taking your act on the road and racking up some quality poker time at a real casino. Sometimes, the fun is in sharing the tension and the atmosphere with other poker players, not playing by yourself.
